Math/Science/Technology
A math/science/technology course integrates math, science, and technology concepts in a project-based format.  Students work on hands-on projects that incorporate theoretical math and science concepts in to a tangible product.  Sample projects involve the design and testing of  a projectile launcher, an airplane wing, and a miniature golf course.  Currently, Dover, Pawling, Spackenkill, and Webutuk High Schools are offering MST courses.

Math/Art/Technology
A math/art/technology course integrates math, art, and technology concepts in a project-based format.  Students work on hands-on projects that incorporate math and art concepts in to a tangible product.  A sample project involves 3-D graphical design.  Currently, Dover High School is offering a MAT course.

Pre-engineering
A pre-engineering program involves defining a series of courses to prepare students for entry in to technology or engineering programs.  This may include a cluster of pre-existing courses or an offering of courses such as Principles of Engineering I and II.  Many regional high schools offer a pre-engineering type program.  The articulation agreements that high schools have with their community college varies significantly.  Schools that are offering these types of courses include Arlington, John Jay, and Ketcham High Schools.
